Fixing the Work Sharp Ken Onion Elite Mk 2

all right so I’ve gotten impatient um and I think I’m just gonna do it I’m just gonna try to cut this off uh I think my plan is um my plan is I think I’m gonna so there’s a stud there’s a stud so I’m basically it’s gonna come from this back stud which is about there I’m just gonna come and uh take this off take that off um that’ll be like one cut and then um probably do another one here uh and then I’m going to try to figure out exactly how to do this um so I get all this kind of stuff out of the way so that’s what I’m going to try to do um could be a disaster I’ve actually never used uh druml for this before um so yeah we’re GNA see how this goes okay and then um this is a feature that goes into there so I’m going to be try to be a little careful about and I know I’m me use kind of those marks as like a guide so I’m going to try to get around there and then I think I’m just G to try to come down to to here and um just try it like that yeah we’re g to deal with this right here okay so I should have been wearing glasses the whole time but you know whatever for that’s a mess uh all right let’s see of course now I’m going to be the first victim of some sort of freak industrial Work Sharp uh can onion blade grinding attachment with features removed um I might still I might come down back here a little bit more actually but let’s to see see where we’re at all right okay I mean if feels better um that’s kind of cool okay yeah um that is better uh need to do a little bit more touching up back here guess if you watch this long maybe you’ll watch a little longer all right that’s really about all I can do without risking getting that guy gone um now this a little little bit of clean up by the way one of y’all out there uh mentioned in your comment that I should use the mark1 blade grinding attachment to go ahead and send this guy down uh so this is uh this is your idea obviously my phone is recording this right now so I can’t look up who you were but kudos to you thank you for the suggestion I think it’s uh oh I’m sure there’s some sort of literary term for that using the old thing to repair the new thing that the new thing was designed to replace the old thing all right I think that’s about as good as I am going to be able to do I definitely imagine of y’all will have vastly better craftsmanship and uh and uh probably better ideas but the deed is done um and we are going to hopefully despite the storms have a ton of knives and garden tools and scissors and everything else come my way tomorrow and I will give yall a full report so much better it is it’s just better it just is that wasn’t better but nothing I can really do about that uh I think actually that’s just because um this is not a bad thing actually the um the tensioner on this guy is quite a lot more tensionyoutube like this and that’s the way I’m doing it coming top down and around um I think because of this yeah see I can’t do it like that I have to do this weird little hitch and then come in I’m confident I will get better at that um so there you go uh if you’re really going to blow and go I could probably take that off too but I’m not going to right now if you’re really going to blow and go um that might be a mod you want to make um yeah there you go thank you
