A freezing day at Truist Park in Atlanta, sharpening a big batch of restaurant knives for a customer we have looked after for about three years.
Hello everyone. Nate here with SimplySharp and I am here in uh Truest Park in Atlanta, Georgia. Uh couple restaurants here we sharpen for a big old batch of knives and all right this particular customer been sharpening them for about 3 years or so and they just have an assortment of knives. Um you know just everyday kitchen knives you’ll see. Uh we also get things like these little Robocu blades. So like a food processor. Um mandolins and yeah just a bunch of knives. We’re just going to plow through them real quick. It is cold out here today and uh you know I had to switch angles to sharpen these Japanese style knives, but we really need our hands to feel the burn. Um going to give you a hard time to feel that here. Normally I’ve got hand warmers that my wife got me. Uh but they take a while to get warm and I forgot to turn them on. The compound is cold. Um tip your sharpens out there. Try to keep the blue compound someplace warm. All right. So these uh food processor blades or robo blades. They’re not really all that hard. You really only sharpen this uh this one edge then take the bur off. I use a worn A100. Now always have a little bit of engine back there. So that and then this. All right. I hope you guys like that. It was cold out there. My hands are freezing. Uh, I’m really happy to be back here in this car. Uh, it’s electric, so it’s been on the whole time. Heat seaters are going, steering wheel heater is going. It feels so good. Um, but yeah, there you go. That is just a day in the life of sharpening at a baseball stadium. Hope you all enjoyed it. Thank you everyone. Have a great day.
